FEB Undip Alumnus Muhammad Hafizh Fachrur Rhozy Leads Indonesian Taekwondo Team to Gold at the 2025 SEA Games

Thailand, December 10, 2025 – Another proud achievement has been recorded by an alumnus of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Diponegoro University (FEB Undip). Muhammad Hafizh Fachrur Rhozy successfully contributed the first gold medal for the Indonesian Taekwondo Team at the 2025 SEA Games held in Thailand.

The gold medal was secured in the Men’s Team Poomsae event, alongside fellow athletes Muhammad Alfi Kusuma and Muhammad Rizal. The trio delivered a solid and convincing performance during the competition held at Island Hall, Level 3, Fashion Island Shopping Mall, Bangkok, on Wednesday, December 10, 2025.

This achievement marks a significant milestone not only for the Indonesian contingent but also for FEB Undip. Muhammad Hafizh Fachrur Rhozy’s accomplishment demonstrates that FEB Undip graduates are capable of making meaningful contributions beyond academic and professional fields, while also bringing honor to the nation on the international sports stage.

The gold medal at the 2025 SEA Games further reinforces the consistency of Indonesian taekwondo as one of the country’s leading sports disciplines in regional competitions. Previously, Indonesian taekwondo achieved remarkable success by winning 12 medals at the 2021 SEA Games and 9 medals at the 2023 SEA Games. In 2025, the sport once again showcased its competitiveness and the continuous development of its athletes.

The 2025 SEA Games, officially known as the 33rd Southeast Asian Games, took place across the Bangkok Metropolitan Region and Chonburi Province, Thailand, from December 9 to 20, 2025. The multi-sport event brought together top athletes from Southeast Asian countries and served as a prominent platform for regional sporting excellence.
