Semarang – The Undergraduate Management Study Program of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Diponegoro (FEB Undip), organized a public lecture titled “Introduction to Capital Market and Investment” on Wednesday, 18 February 2026, at the Hall of Building C, FEB Undip. The event was part of an academic initiative aimed at strengthening students’ understanding of the fundamental concepts of financial markets, particularly the capital market, while also enhancing investment literacy among young generations.
The public lecture featured Fanny Rifqi El Fuad, Head of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) Representative Office for Central Java 1, as the main speaker. In his presentation, the speaker explained various fundamental aspects of the capital market. The session was moderated by Astiwi Indriani, S.E., M.M., a lecturer of the Undergraduate Management Study Program at FEB Undip.
Through the delivery of practical insights and interactive discussion sessions, students gained a more comprehensive understanding of the importance of capital market knowledge as one of the key instruments in financial management. The event also highlighted the strategic role of young generations in supporting the development of a healthy and sustainable financial market ecosystem.
The organization of this public lecture is expected to increase students’ awareness of the importance of financial and investment literacy from an early stage. With a better understanding of capital market dynamics, students are expected to make informed, rational, and responsible investment decisions in the future.
